Theory training
The only training for teeth whitening certification you’ll need
Why the need for a teeth whitening certification?
We at Teeth Whitening Associates, along with the New Zealand Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Association (NZCTWA) and the Australian Teeth Whitening Training Academy (ATWTA), believe anyone performing teeth whitening treatments on the public should be proven qualified and competent to do so.
Unless they’re a dental professional, this requires them to have undertaken comprehensive training, in order to achieve a teeth whitening qualification and accreditation, and to be registered as such, for transparency and accountability.
Our theory training
Our teeth whitening training course is delivered to you online, for you to study at your own pace.
It consists of a comprehensive 135-page manual, covering the theory behind teeth whitening, from the anatomy of the tooth right through to the code of ethics and professional conduct a practitioner should follow.
Once studied, you have the chance to complete a 32-question Knowledge Review form, and for it to be assessed, to become a bona-fide qualified teeth whitening practitioner*. If it is deemed there is room for improvement on some of the topics, we will work with you and let you know where further study is needed, until you are fully competent.
Your certificate in teeth whitening will be endorsed by the NZCTWA (New Zealand) or the ATWTA (Australia), and is fast becoming a recognised teeth whitening industry accreditation.
*In conjunction with a practical training module
